Do you lather your soap between your hands or rub the wet bar straight onto your body? Both methods work. If you apply the bar directly, use light pressure and spread the lather with your hands.
There is no need to keep rubbing the same area to build up more foam.
Lather in Your Hands or Apply Directly?
Lathering the bar between wet hands lets you spread the soap over your body without rubbing the bar against your skin. Applying it directly to wet skin can be convenient, especially on your arms and legs.
Choose whichever feels comfortable. The wet bar should move easily over your skin. If it drags, add more water rather than pressing harder.

Do You Need More Foam?
A generous lather may feel pleasant, but producing more foam does not necessarily mean your skin is cleaner.
Spread the soap over the area you are cleaning, then rinse it away thoroughly. Once you have enough lather to wash comfortably, there is no need to keep adding soap.
After showering, notice how your skin feels. If it regularly feels tight, dry, or irritated, consider changing the way you wash or trying a different cleanser.
